Dr. Chheang currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Delaware and a research scientist at the University of Magdeburg, Germany. He got his PhD from University of Magdeburg in Germany and Masters’s degree from Chungbuk National University in South Korea, and bachelor’s degree in computer science from Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia, respectively. His research focuses on interaction and visualization techniques in human-computer interaction, extended reality (XR), collaborative VR, and medical visualization, especially in medical planning, training, and interprofessional team collaboration.
